Saw it on Friday. 10/10 can confirm.
Also, it was the first movie I saw in 3D where I would actually recommend it rather than forget I was watching a 3D movie. It gave the planet such a vast feel. Those camera HUDs also made it feel like you were in the suit as well in 3D.

The book was a great story. The writing, was alright but if it’s a great story, the writing can be improved in a screenplay and kept to the same character styles. Read the stroy behind the creation of the book, a breakout story and first time published author. This movie is probably wonderful as a result of the actual story elements beinng as factual hard-fiction as possible.

I must be driving my friends and family crazy ranting about first the book and now the movie. It’s just... excellent. I feel like modern hollywood is finally celebrating nerds as something other than mad scientists. Solving problems by thinking about them is suddenly sexy.
